Really Good Voice Lessons

Many singers leave their formal education feeling lost and underprepared, but it doesn’t have to be this way! I am here to help you navigate the next steps as you build your creative life.

Vocal Instruction

When you feel like something is a little amiss with your singing, you’re probably right. If it feels frustrating but you just don’t know what else to do, let’s meet. Sometimes the things we need most are more concrete, actionable technical ideas. Sometimes we just need permission to be more ourselves. I’ll bring my knowledge of vocal anatomy, acoustics, scientifically accurate breathing mechanics, human physiology, and a heaping dose of encouragement and support. I believe in your voice, even if you don’t yet, and I continue to pursue training in numerous areas so that I can help you uncover your true, free sound. I offer six-week and six-month intensives, as well as stand-alone sessions.

Trauma + Healing Work

If you are experiencing mental blocks in your work, I’m here to help. If you haven’t been the same after that accident or injury, I’m here to help. If years of hurtful criticism by people in authority have broken your spirit, I want to help. We’ll tap into the miraculous, innate wisdom of your nervous system and clear out what’s been stored there, leaving you free to reclaim your vibrancy and live into your truest self. I recommend committing to a minimum of four sessions, which includes ongoing support and intentional integration of all you process. Some folx may feel very ready for deeper work, and so I also offer a six-session package. I also offer process support for when you are working on a project that is emotionally demanding and need targeted emotional care.

Permission to Sing: A Healing Intensive for Singers

Let’s be real: a LOT of us are carrying around a LOT of things from our training and our experiences trying to create our artistic identities. Teachers can be cruel, training can be incomplete; we feel defective, isolated, damaged. AND THIS IS BULLSHIT.

You are magnificent and you deserve to sing. You’ll learn some tools for identifying when someone else’s ideas are running the show, and make some space in your body and your experience for your own ideas about your voice and your creative expression.
